Eliza Chambers Will

In the name of God Amen: I Eliza Chambers of the County of Baldwin in the State of Georgia being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare, this to be my last Will and Testament: That is to say.
First after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of as follows towit:
To my beloved children, Salatha A., Martha J., George T., John E., William A., Nancy E. and Mary Lou Chambers, I give, bequeath, and devise, all of my real and personal estate, to my children mentioned, or their heirs, who may be living at the time of my decease, to be divided equally between then, except five dollars $5.00 cts.  which I bequeath, to my granddaughter Eliza Chambers, daughter of my son Henry M. Chambers as her full share of my estate.
     Likewise I make, constitute, and appoint, my said son George T. and my daughters Salatha A. and Martha J. Chambers, to be executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
    In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed my seal the Sixteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Eliza Chambers in our presence and acknowledged by her to each of us and she at the time published and declared the above instrument so subscribed to be her last will and testament and we, at the testators request, and in her presence, have signed our names as witnesses hereto, and written opposite our names or respective places of residence.

Court of Ordinary for said county At Chambers may the 23 1874.
The Will of Eliza Chambers, being produced for probate by George T. Chambers, one of the Executors their named, who has filed his petition to prove the same, and one of the witnesses thereto Maurice J. Martin came into Court at Chambers this day, and being duly sworn deposes and says that he saw Eliza  Chambers sign and publish the within as her last will and testament while of sound and disposing mind, that he witnessed the same for here at their request and that Chesley Bloodworth, John Martin, Mary M. Martin and Dealphey Martin also signed said Will as witnesses in her presence and in the presence of each other, and that the same is executed voluntarily by her on the day purported to have been .
