Out of State Estate Records

24 February, 1808: Jeremiah Bonner of the State of Georgia, County of Baldwin and Sarah Bonner his wife disposed of their former property in Sussex County, Virginia via a deed to Robert Halle, as witnessed by Jesse Wrenn, Jonathan Harris and Nathan Wrenn. Former neighbors were listed as Tyus Hall, William Echols and Joel Echols (page 164, Sussex County, VA Deed Book K).

27 January, 1815: Jesse Barnes of Baldwin County, GA deeded Edgecombe County, NC land inherited from his deceased father Jethro Barnes to Stephen Barnes, as witnessed by Reddick Barnes. In a companion deed, Jesse Barnes of Baldwin County, GA is granted power of attorney in the same matter by brother Michael Barnes, a United States soldier, as witnessed by Frederick Sanford and John Matthews (pages 289 and 332 of Edgecombe Co., NC Deed Book 15).

2 December, 1816: Thomas Holt of Baldwin County, Georgia was engaged in a property transaction with John Thomason of Spartanburg District, South Carolina; witnessed by Thomas Hannon and Abner Benson; mentioning William Thomason (page 163, Spartanburg County, SC Deed Book P).

18 March, 1820: Joseph Miller of Baldwin County, State of Georgia appointed Abner Woolsey of Brunswick County, State of Virginia, power of attorney concerning inheritance rights from the estate of the deceased Moses Wheeler of said Brunswick County. Other heirs were listed as Seth Woolsey; Benjamin Woolsey; and Basil Miller and his wife Polly Miller (page 513, Brunswick Co., VA Deed Book 24).
